This is for the CAS Christmas challenge. You can find the link here. Since I acquired a few new poinsettia stamps I knew I had to play. I used my MISTI to stamp this after coloring small sections at a time with Memento and Tombow markers. Jill Foster does a wonderful job explaining this. It does take quite a few impressions to get good coverage. So fun to do. I did try and shade a bit directly on the stamp before stamping. I splattered a bit of red after stenciling the background.
Thanks for looking and hope you join us.

Wow, Nancy! This is gorgeous! Your work is so beautiful, and I have asked for Tombow markers for my birthday (and I believe Walt purchased them - smiling). I hope to try this technique and use your work as inspiration. You inspire me in everything you do! So nice to see you in the gallery. I also will check out the CAS Christmas challenge. I am enjoying CAS more and more! Hugs!

WOW! Those poinsettias are gorgeous Nancy! LOVE the deep red against your white background. The subtle stenciling adds something really special to the background. Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Christmas, my friend! xx

Absolutely Gorgeous watercolored poinsettias, Nancy. I love how your soft stenciling added a bit of shading behind your flowers. TFS and Congratulations for being chosen a CAS Favorites this week:-) Hugs...
These flowers look so dramatic! Strong colors on a delicate, seemingly foggy background look so beautiful. I love your card, it's another amazing and beautiful inspiration.
