| | The rose garden thinlit dies were recently gifted to me by a very dear friend so I was very anxious to make a card using these wonderful dies. Fun! So I made this card for this week's Alphabet Challenge for the letter Q for quartz gray. The top gray panel was stamped with a lace bg stamp. For the rose, I first cut it out of white paper, then I used Glad Press n Seal to hold the rose pieces in place while I used my clarity brushes to add color to the rose and leaf pieces. Once done, I added Glad Press n Seal to the other side of the rose pieces and carefully pulled the first piece of Glad Press n Seal off. Now, I was able to glue the back side of the rose pieces and fit them into place. Then I cut another rose out of silver sparkle paper and set that into place. This card was really fun to make and I look forward to using these dies again soon. Thanks for looking! ~Karen. |
