TLC693 = crayon resist I didn't have a white crayon and used a birthday candle....figuring, wax is wax.
Once I started sponging the bg water, I could see that I hadn't been too careful with the candle and had white spaces. Too late....and I liked what I saw and went with it. I watercolored over the sponged color and added a few white highlights with acrylic.

It must be a little harder to color with a candle! lol But I love the swirly lines of your background. They match the wood EF really well and look like wavy water. The white highlights are a great addition!
