I love Tickle Tuesday. It gives me an excuse to do whatever I want with my card because I know it's going to someone who will appreciate it. This month, Sabrina has challenged us to sing, sing a song. I had to choose Escape (The Pina Colada Song), because it got so stuck in my Desmond's head last night we couldn't stop giggling about it. My kids have their own Amazon Prime playlist with over 150 songs on it by now. Whenever they hear a new song that they like, they ask me to put it on their playlist. We happened to hear The Pina Colada Song twice on Sunday, so onto the playlist it went. Last night was the first time I ever saw Desmond acknowledge that he had a song stuck in his head and he couldn't stop singing it. So next weekend we're going to have some pina coladas.
I chose this Bugaboo Stella image to represent the woman in the song. Obviously, things didn't wind up working out for the couple and now she sits on the beach (by the dunes on the Cape) sipping pina coladas and planning her escape.
Barbara's fun colors were perfect for this fun card. I used the blue and green food coloring to do a shaving cream stenciled BG to represent getting caught in the rain. Then I colored the image all up using this week's colors. I had to add this fun pina colada sticker, but also wanted to put it on a 45. I have no idea why, but I have somehow collected three copies of this song on 45. And yet, somehow I can't picture what color the label is. I choose to go with pina colada colored.
Fun challenges, ladies! I can't wait to browse these galleries. I might actually have some time today.

Oh, Jenn, what a fun, fun card! I love the take on the song, the great coloring, the funny image, the background, the 45! It all comes together so perfectly! Now this song is playing in my head . . . . :-)
