I used a print of a photo I took last year of fuchsias, The colors reminded me of a hummingbird which are now back visiting the pink/red flowers. The hummingbird was stamped, the colors enhanced with an aqua brush and pad ink, cut out and coated with clear EP.

Great combination of photo image and stamped bird, Sallie. In our garden we only had the plain fuchsias and I always thought that those double ones were so pretty and even more dancer-like.

Beautiful combination, Sallie! Perfect coloring of the hummingbird and a lovely layout for your pretty picture. We’ve got a couple of fuschias hanging outside the LR window. So much fun watching the hummers feed. Thank you for playing in my challenge.

Sallie, The photo is great. would love to see those fuchsia IRL. The frame of the trellis couldn't be more perfect for the photo and the stamp. You did a marvelous job coloring this hummer.

BEAUTIFUL fushia photo...love the lattice die-cut framing and pale green to offset the deep, rich green in the photo and that FABULOUS watercolored birdie! So pretty, Sallie! Right to my FAVs!
