I find the chirping of birds to be very comforting. I wake up in the morning and they're the first thing I hear....it's the promise of a new day...a hopeful sound. I stamped this image twice and watercolored...then cut out the bird using a scalloped die . I went around the edge with a copper pen and popped up the portion of the image. This will go to Robin.

Oh, Polly, this is gorgeous! I love your watercoloring and how you've popped the center with the bird. And the scroll-like die around it is beautiful, along with the color of your card base. It's stunning, and Robin will love it! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo

Polly, I have scrolled back up to look at this four times and still can't find the words to describe how much I love it! The rich colors, beautiful coloring and the copper accents are fabulous together. WOW!

What a stunning sympathy card this is Polly! You are so right about the sound of birds chirping being such a comforting sound. This bird reminds me of a dove and I have always found their mournful chirp to be comforting. The colors you used are really gorgeous; especially with all the copper accents. The popped up image panel is a lovely touch. ~Karen.
