This card is for my daughter's dog to give to my daughter.
My youngest daughter suffers some mental health issues that are debilitating and part of a syndrome she has on the extreme spectrum
Nearly twelve months ago it was suggested that she get a dog as a companion, we have always been a cat family so I wasn't sure how this would go but the difference Jock has made to my daughters life is nothing short of a miracle.
The card covers three challenges.
CC686; Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo & Black.
I did a watercolour wash of the green grading it out towards the top but first stamping the greetings and also the image, then masking the image where I wanted to colour. I coloured the images by scribbling marker colour onto a gloss tile then picking it up with the mop brush.
SC696; With the sketch I embossed the second layer and then sponged the edges for some detail.
F4A429; The Free for All Friday challenge was to do a girly card and with all the pink and hearts I think this is very girly lol.
Thanks for looking, happy stamping Marg.

What an amazing story. It is so wonderful that 'man's best friend' has made such a positive difference in your daughter's life. This card is just perfect with that lovely sentiment.

Wonderful take on the sketch and the other challenges. Love how you used the colors. The image is perfect for your DD from her precious dog. I am so glad that a dog is helping her. I have had many dogs and each one was special. This card is wonderful. Into my favs! Love the heart gems and the pretty ribbon. The bird is so cute! TFS

This is awesome. I'm sure your daughter loved this wonderful card. It is amazing how a dog can make such difference. Our DD got a rescue dog about a year ago when she was going through a very tough time - we joke that we don't know who rescued who.
