For Toni's WTUI challenge this week, which you will be able to find HERE, I went for a mixed media fantasy inspired by the phrase from Yeats' Wandering Aengus poem "the golden apples of the sun", also the title of a Ray Bradbury anthology.
Base layer - DOX smooshed in wild honey, carved pumpkin. Stencil monoprint with TCW Art Deco Leaves and green acrylic paint. Glass bead medium sponged over with the stencil back in place after swirl embossing two corners with Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl. Nuvo Mother of Pearls mousse applied through a Sweet Dixie flourish stencil. Nuvo clear jewel drops applied to some of the embossed flourishes. Panel edged with gold acrylic paint and a sprinkling of gold glitter, then some black Stickles.
Sizzix Royal Paradise bird cut from a piece of DOX background in my scrap box, and embellished with tiny gems. Unity (Hodge Podge of Happiness) apples stamped on white card and embossed with gold, coloured with Twinkling H2Os, edges gone over with Nuvo clear jewel drops.
Branches cut with Serendipity die. Leaves are QuickCutz, cut from DOX on regular photo paper, with black pen dots and Nuvo silver glitter drops on the leaves. Punched notes covered with black Stickles.
6 1/2" cream card base (the biggest I could manage - I should have started this out on canvas, I think) with a pen border.

Holy cow, Sabrina! This is definitely one of my all time favorite cards ever! So much to look at, so much texture and gorgeous color! I love everything about it! Especially whatever that bead gel is that you used in the leaf stencil.

I'm sure IRL this is full of Sparkly Sweetness, Sabrina! Very nice piece of mixed media and showing off your apple centers instead of the outside is a bonus!

Wow, Sabrina, this is a feast for my eyes! I LOVE the apples and the beautiful background...you do mixed media so beautifully! And I was not aware of the wonderful short stores by Ray Bradbury that were inspired by his wife Maggie. How sweet is that? I love how you've achieved such a wonderful texture, and the Royal Paradise bird is quite elegant! Stunning card, sweet friend! Hugs and love! xoxo

Sabrina this is absolutely amazing. Your textures and swirls in the BG draw me in and the tree and apples and bird really work so beautifully on that incredible BG. Absolutely amazing card.

You have been busy, busy!! Sabrina this is JAW-DROPPING with all its wonderful and numerous elements, techniques, and colors! Love the leaves with the microbeads...stunning. Your beautiful bird resting on the apple tree is so darn creative, and I love all the background embossing, smooshing, stenciling, and painting to mention just a few! LOVE IT!

Wow, so very nice and you put so much effort into it with all you did--very vintage and your bird is eyeing the apples like going to take a wee bite and hoping you will not notice.
