A big congrats to Donna, the newest Featured Stamper! I had a hard time choosing, but finally narrowed it down to THIS. I kept the colorful chevrons & birthday (my bday greeting is on the inside), but I used different images, different layout & mine's a retro theme.
I stamped the tv & paper pieced the fun paper for the screen. It kind of reminded me of those test patterns (remember those?). So I also added some retro images from a couple of old PSX border stamps.
Congrats again, Donna! Thanks so much for looking. I'll get it up on my blog shortly. I spent all afternoon taping off about a million miles of baseboard so we can paint the walls & forgot to do my post. It's up on my blog,..finally! The Write Stuff

I adore this fabulous retro-style card you have created. I am super impressed with how you added the chevrons to this fun, vintage card - in the TV of all places (Yes, I am old enough to remember when TVs were scrambled more than they showed a picture due to poor reception). How fun this is! ~Karen.

OH taping....thats the hardest part of painting...(almost)...the prep is the hardest and takes the longest. Just think of how pretty it will be when done. Fresh paint is always so nice. LOVE your vintage T.V...and yes I do remember those patterns in black and white too. Now I am feeling old...lol
Fun birthday card...do loe the piecing on your tv...so fun...TFS...and enjoy your new project...:0)
