Here is my card for our friend Carlene. It took me some time to decide what to do because antique and vintage is so not my style. But when I went looking for a stamp for Lisa's bug challenge today, I decided that this would be perfect for Carlene. Also perfect for TLC 21 which was metal dry embossing. I stamped the two butterflies (that are hard to see) onto aluminum foil and raced over them with my stylus. Then I flipped it over and had my embossed butterflies. To make it antiquey, I used brown and yellow alcohol ink and gold mixative. I had my heart set on finishing this up with a lacey bow but I didn't have any lace. So I called my mom and asked her to bring lace with her. Mom to the rescue! The lace was white, so I sponged it with Frayed Burlap to age it. I hope Carlene liked her card and I hope she recovers quickly!

Jen, your embossed butterfly panel is a jewel in itself and the beautiful tulips with vintage lattice and framework is is lovely. The lacey bow is the perfect vintage element to finish the design! Carlene is going to LOVE this!

The framed embossed butterflies look fab - the tulip frame stamp is spectacular. That metal dry embossing is a fun technique which I haven't done for ages. The lace adds a wonderful vintage look.
What a GORGEOUS card! Love that big lace bow!
I'd be so happy if you'd link this up to the Cropstop challenge where it's always "Anything Goes" as long as you use a product or two from one of the companies they carry in the store. (You did!)

Oh my, I've been revisiting my wonderful cards received on my Traveling Teapot adventure with all the many cards received with well wishes for a speedy recovery from my knee surgery, and I realized I missed your, Jennifer...I am so sorry!
This card is absolutely BEAUTIFUL~~ I love the colors...so full of spring, and such a lovely palette of shades of yellows, gold, corals, and greens. Your coloring is gorgeous, and I love the gold filigree framing that has a gold lustre to it. The bronzy faux metal butterflies peeking in the center window is such a pretty touch and I love that big lacy bow. This card is STUNNING and I'm so happy it is mine to look at, again and again!
