This card was made for the S2S "naughty" challenge but when I saw the Teapot challenge I knew I could make it for my sister in the UK.
I love dancing and my sister does when she's had a wine or two .....she's shyer than I am LOL.
What she will love is the saying which I printed onto cardstock. Our gran and mum used to say this to us, and especially to me when I was doing cartwheels and out playing....I was a bit of a tomboy LOL. I'm not sure if this is just an English saying.
Even now it is a saying that I say to our GD and say she must sit like a lady. I know that this card will bring a smile to my sister's face.
We don't see one another much as we are at opposite ends of the world, but we FaceTime regularly. She is older than me and we have become closer since our parents passed away many years ago. She has been through a lot the past year and is in remission from ovarian cancer so I am thankful every day that she is ok.
It was an easy card to make. I had to restamp the main image and fussy cut it out as my watercoloring leaked, but I liked the image popped up.
This card will be winging its way to her in the next few days...a reminder for her to keep enjoying life and to remember her next week's washing LOL.
TFL Happy day

LOL, I've never heard it before either! Tomboy here too . I was never very good at cartwheels but my brother and I lived in the trees in the garden. My sister was the more ladylike one. Love the washing peg combined with your sentiment. Thanks for coming to the tea-party this week, Jayne.

What a wonderful sentiment - makes you chuckle. Love the dark purple background - really shows off the rhythm and movement shown in the little dancing girl.

What an extra special card! Seems more sisterly done in purple too, aren't all little girls infatuated with this color at one time or another in their life? Hadn't heard this saying either. Can relate to the tomboy, though - from climbing the huge ficus to seeing how far we could run up a palm tree that was badly curved (likely due to a hurricane in it's early life). I think cutting out your image accents it even more, love all your extra goodies.
