I love the pops of red and orange against the strong blue bg in this image here, but I am in the mood for spring flowers (plus I got this new stamp!!!!).
For my bg: I dragged my inks down and across my bg with blues and greens (DI) and then softened the lines between colors with the gesso (applied with my fingers). I love how this turned out! Then I stamped the tulip stamp on this panel with black and let dry. I had some pieces of alcohol ink smooshing (on Yupo paper) left-over from 2 different projects and I stamped the portions of the big stamp (just the tulips) on these 2 pieces (this time with Staz-on). After letting that dry, I fussy cut the tulips. I adhered the tulips to the bg panel, embossed the sentiment on black cs and adhered that also, matted the panel in black and attached to the card front. Finally, I added white gel pen and white paint pen to the raindrops, and some of the doodles. LOVE how it turned out - so springy!

Wow! Your background is a stunner! I need to practice this because I adore backgrounds like this! Your tulips are fabulous! I love that you created them from your yupo leftovers! Such a dramatic card! I love it!
