This is my sample for CC681. I am your hostess today and I chose pool party, flirty flamingo and island indigo for my color trio. Dessert Option this week is anything goes. Just let us know what you used as your optional item.
I started my card by stamping my musical notes background with Versamark ink and then embossed with white embossing powder. Sponged with tumbled glass distress ink for an emboss resist technique. That's my dessert option.
My birthday bear, cupcake, balloon and present are part of the Birthday Party Bear die from CottageCutz. I cut in the various challenge colors and layered on the image circle. The circle is cut from the wacky stitched circle dies also from CottageCutz.
To finish off my card, I scattered some flirty flamingo heart enamel shapes on the musical notes.
Hope you can play along with us this week. The colors are fresh and fun. Check out the other DT samples for more inspiration. You can also check out our Color Challenge Pinterest Board here.
