This challenge apparently was calling my name...I went to the Y this morning and when I got there was informed they were closed due to a water main break. It's hard enough some days to get motivated to exercise....and then they throw in this. They said I could call this aft to see if they were back open...ya like I'm going to drive back over there...NO! So the water main thing got me thinking about today's challenge...After a couple of failed attempts at making a bg with my brushos, I tried something new. I put down my stencil, sprinkled some yellow and green brushos on top and then I took a baby wipe and wiped to create my design. Technically baby wipes aren't water but...I was using a watercolor medium and WC paper, right? I do like how it turned out.

Wow Pol this looks brilliant. I had a chuckle at your story .... You sure put Plan B (card making) to good use. Love the faux textured 3D effect you achieved.

Oh, what a great job and wonderful technique with your stencil and brushos, Polly. And, such pretty crocus. I've had my first sign of spring. The daffodils and hyacinth bloomed a while ago and are gone until next spring.

Oh my goodness Polly I am totally going to have to try this technique. Love the way it turned out. I say it was meant to be that you did not get to work out so you could create this card.
