Love this challenge - hearing the songs of birds makes me happy! I love it when I am outside of course, but I also listen to music before I go to bed that includes bird and other nature noises in the bg - and it is so calming.
I used the smooshing technique on acetate technique again - I made several sheets, so you will be seeing more! (thanks to inspiration from the CAS mix-up Challenge). I found that it worked best for me if I just put some dots of ink in multiple places on the foil, smooshed the acetate, and then repeated this till I liked the results. I had to hold the acetate against a white bg to actually see how it looked and to decide when I was satisfied. As this dried I die cut my birds, frame, sentiment panel and then stamped sentiment. Attached all to the card front. Love how shiny the acetate looks but of course you can't see this in the photo.

Beautiful card Maura! Love the beautiful colour of the alcohol inks. Great design with having a small border of the AI panel outside of the white frame. Gorgeous die-cut birds ... I love this time of year when the birds are happily churping away in our backyard. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

Wow! I still haven't tried the acetate stamping technique but what you've done is gorgeous. The background makes that pretty bird die stand out beautifully! I love it!
