I began by stamping the flowers in the bottom corner with Versamark and white heat embossed. I then sponged the whole card front with DOX. Then, using a wet paint brush, I lifted the ink off of the flowers and painted them in with purple Distress inks.
I splattered the bkg to look more watery.

I love how your inspiration led to this beautiful card! Gorgeous results of water lifting from the DOX. I saw Jennifer McGuire's video of this technique and have yet to try it.

Karen, your card is fabulous! The card is a fantastic representation of your gorgeous inspiration piece!! I agree with Maura about the lifting of ink and recoloring the flowers creates such beauty Great job, Karen!

Oh, Karen, what a GORGEOUS card! I love the techniques you've used and how beautiful the results are! You are amazing, my sweet friend!
