So I stamped the alpha bkg. then using a marker, I drew in the grid lines and watercoloured them using my Distress inks.
I placed it into my Misti and stamped then clear embossed the scene.

Ah...see were we walked the same path as mentioned on my giraffe with tiling bg! This is amazing Karen...so love the colorful quilt-looking background with your lovely silhouetted giraffes and tree...right from the African Savanna! Love that stamped alpha under your quilting...creates such a great touch!
