A big congrats to Bronwyn, the newest Featured Stamper! She has an amazing gallery & I had a hard time choosing just one. I finally picked THIS card to case. I kept the colors & layout but her little boy became the state of Texas & I changed the triangular spinner to a word art thingie (as per TLC679) & instead of white stitch lines I used a barbed wire border.
I did the lines & coloring word art for the die cut Howdy per the Technique Challenge then colored the die cut Texas shape & did my best to match up the lower end of the point convergence & added a star at that point. The lt blue was dry embossed & I made a border using a barbed wire die.
Congrats again, Bronwyn! Thanks so much for looking. Closeups, the inside & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

My goodness, your card is simply incredible! I love how you did the lines and the sentiment and how this fits with the star for the state of Texas. The barbed wire die in blue frames out this image perfectly. I am super impressed you made this incredible card based on Bronwyn's wonderful card. ~Karen.
Fabulous card, Julie! You did an amazing job on that 3D word die technique! The barb wire, stars and lasso on the sentiment are perfect for a Texas card!

I have a daughter, son-in-law, and four grandkids in Texas. Love this card. The Howdy die is amazing and the barbed wire border perfect for the design.
