Both fun challenges today! As a mom to a mini macaw (parrot), I had to do the CAS Feathered Friends & the painting w/ cardboard looked like fun. My piece didn't turn out as pretty as I'd hoped so I used just some it behind the toucan.
Since I have the aforementioned parrot, every day is Bird Day around here, lol. And I know I have a bunch of bird stamps. I just love this Laurel Burch toucan (well, I love all her images!) so I had a lot of fun coloring him. I think I'll save this for my BIL's birthday..he has a parrot, too, so a lot of his days are Bird Days as well.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ the Copic colors & closeup: The Write Stuff

Julie, your coloring is always sensational and your toucan looks terrific with colors used. Your technique for the bg is an equally terrific splash of color!

A great Toucan image and so beautifully colored, Julie. The colors in the background are amazing and go perfectly! I really like the results of the technique. A gorgeous card!
