This is for Marilyn's fun Mix Challenge - Touch of WOW. I started this card yesterday afternoon but have only got back to it now to complete.
My WOW is using the technique of colouring the back side of embossed vellum - I have only done this once before and loved the look. I used 3 different coloured marker pens and then attached to Strawberry Slush c/s. I distressed the edges & sponged with Tattered Rose distress ink. The sentiment panel has also been distressed, edges inked, and then the pearls added, once I had placed the parasol. The parasol I have die cut 3 times for dimension, the top layer die cut from a scrap piece I had done previously, looked like I had swiped the inkpad across the c/s. For liking a look so much ie the coloured vellum - I am wondering why it has taken me this long to do it again!!

Sue, this is such a beauty of a card! I did a double take when I realized you used an embossing folder and vellum for your bg. You colored this in such great colors that highlight your wonderful parasol perfectly! I really love this card you made! ~Karen.
