Just squeaking in under the wire here for the CAS watercolor: birthday Challenge. I think this qualifies as I used water, and diluted ink, and diluted white paint splattering for a water color look. Cut a section of cs to use about half my card front and stamped and embossed the flowers. Sponged on DI, then splattered with water, and dabbed with paper towel. Then I added some shading in with copics - at the base of the petals and leaves - and when satisfied, splattered with diluted white acrylic paint and watered down black ink. Attached to card front along with a thin strip of black and stamped sentiment.

So beautiful, Maura!! Love the mix of colours over the white embossing. Great visual texture from the splattered background. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour! xx

Maura your cards should come with a warning, I almost fell off my chair when the screen slowly opened up to reveal this beauty. I just scrolled back for another look, oh wow sweet girl, your cards and creativity are off the charts! I can't stay and chat, I need to go now and let the B Fabs of the Week notifier, to get some rest before the weekend.

Maura, I love the colors and LOVE the splattered ink and paint. This is wonderfully done and, of course, I wish I had made it because it is so beautiful. Many hugz!!!
