Second row from the bottom in the middle - the hand with the branch and leaves. I omitted the arm but tried to capture some of the busyness in the leaves with patterns and extra texture.
I did Ink Smooshing on the blue background with some aluminum foil swipped with blue ink that was splattered with white acrylic paint and water. Then I dipped in the paer. I did the same with green, brown and yellow inks also splattered with white acrylic paint and water - then I cut out the branches with dies and hand-cut the leaves. To add more interest to the hand-cut leaves, I used a stylus to make leaf veins and then outlined it all in Stickles that I sprinkled with sparkly clear EP and then heated. Some strange bubbling occurred but it looks super cool close up.
Stamped my sentiment and distressed everything with some Distress ink. Then I splattered everything with watered down Snowtex.
Sounds a little complicated but it wasn't.
Fun stuff - can't wait to see what everyone else came up with.

This is just beautiful, Nancy! I love the leaves with the added sparkle and the brown around the blue BG is such a nice touch! Right into my favorites!

SHOW STOPPER! WOW, Nancy this is just beautiful! You've created a new technique with your bubbling...look so realistic...just like old dried leaves with a bit of frosty sparkle! Love your smooshed/ splatterd bg with its ink-distressed edges! Super pretty card!
