Twenty-eight years ago I married the sweetest guy. He has his quirks just like anyone else but he has the sweetest heart. I am very lucky.
He is an avid backpacker and is chomping at the bit to get back out in the woods. He has had more on his plate than usual with taking over some tasks I have been unable to do, but I can tell that he is getting antsy for a night in the woods!!!
For the IC632 challenge I chose a site with a wide variety of interesting items as well as anniversary gifts, not that my husband and I give one another anniversary gifts but I thought it would be fun just to browse! When I saw THIS photo I knew it was just what I want to say to my outdoorsman on our 28th anniversary.
I stamped and fussy cut the tent from SNSS Camping Fun stamp set. Next, I Masked a moon then added mountains. For a finishing touch I drew tent lines to hold the tent in place. The sentiment was computer generated.
I hope you will join us for the Inspiration Challenge!

I think this card is just perfect for the outdoor guy you married 28 years ago!! WE no longer give each other gifts for any anniversary or birthday. We have all we need (and more!).

Love this scene, Angie - especially the glowing light from the tent. Thanks for your kind comment on my card, and I love adding that bit of shadowing to the moon. I can't remember who I learned it from but it makes a big difference IMO!
