Happy New Year, everyone!! It has been very busy for me for the last two weeks, and I have not posted anything. So, I am happy to participate in Kia's Chilled Thanks CAS challenge!
This card was easy to make, and it features one of Penny Black's gorgeous winter scene stamps. The MISTI was a very handy tool to use in making this card as I stamped the image several times. I colored with markers various sections of the stamp and stamped them onto a piece of white card stock. I repeated this process several times until I achieved the desired color for each section.
After covering the image with VersaMark Ink and heat embossing with clear embossing powder, I used a VersaMark pen to add more clear embossing powder in areas that I wanted to appear as snow.
I sponged distress oxide inks on the piece after adding a circular piece of masking tape for the moon. I splattered copic white paint over the card for snow, and added the Thanks sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment!

Just stunning, Bev. I have missed your cards but you certainly came back with a winner. Love the snow laden trees and your moon looks like the one outside my house right now.

Wow, Bev! This makes me want to stay in out of the snow and we don't even have any! Although it is colder than usual for us here today! The moonlight shining on the scene makes it so beautiful! The trees and the snow help, too!
