I stamped and sponged the entire scene on blue CS. Using a rectangle die, three "windows" were cut into the top white CS....rather than cutting the scene into three parts.....gives a little more depth.

That sponging is just amazing. Caught my eye straight away as I looked at the gallery whilst talking to my aunt on the telephone. The shadows on the snow give such a great night feeling, something I find really hard to capture.

It took me a minute to figure out what you had done, but yes, cutting the rectangles from white and layering over your scene does indeed add depth ~ great tip! I love this cozy winter scene, looks like getting toward the end of the day to me from the colors of your sky. The snow looks amazing, so realistic!
