My aunt and uncle are celebrating their 50th anniversary this week. So here's to them. A happy golden anniversary.
Here's another stamp that I discovered in my stash when I was organizing. This beauty says it's from 1998 and as far as I can tell had never been used. I had to trim it and put it on the block and all that (can a Stampin' Up person explain that to me? Like I said, I'm new to this stamping thing and I can't understand why I would want to assemble my own stamps?).
I pictured a card all in gold and white, so I picked out these papers--DCWV glitter paper and these metallic patterns from The Paper Studio. Then I embossed the rose. I was worried that I would lose all that lovely detail, but it embossed perfectly! When I was done assembling them into Cathy's awesome sketch, I decided all it needed was a gold embossed "50", so I made it into just a little banner at the bottom. A very simple and fun card to make.

Oh my you never used the stamp it is a brilliant stamp. Happy anniversary to your aunt and uncle. I am so in love with this stunning card. What brand of Gold EP did you use? I totally need to get new Gold EP as mine is a matted gold and is 16 years old and not nearly as stunning. Fantastic card and great use of the sketch.
