Julia sent me a wonderful RAK of two House Mouse stamps, and this one was just perfect to use for Carla's great WT challenge this week. You'll be able to find why after the challenge has been posted HERE.
I stamped the image on cream card and coloured with Polychromos pencils, then distressed the edges and sponged them. Looking through my papers I found this lovely one received long ago as a RAK and decided to put it to good use. I sponged the edges with Walnut Stain, and added it to a kraft base stamped with the coffee ring from Timeless Textures in Walnut Stain.
But not before I had added some burlap ribbon, and my paper buttons made from the tutorial HERE. I used the smallest Spellbinder oval, trying to make them look like coffee beans, and scraps of brown card. I stitched them on through the ribbon. The card still seemed a little unfinished and the partial flourish was lying on my desk, so I added it along with a couple of flowers punched from a coffee filter and saturated with a clear glitter pen.
Carla, thanks for the fun challenge; Julia, thank you for housing some mice over this way!! DH loves his coffee, so this one really made me smile.

Those buttons you made are just the color of coffee. Nice little flowers too for the challenge.

Too fun, Sabrina! Nothing tops a mousie card in my opinion, and this one gave me the giggles. Love the over caffeinated mousies doing the dance, and those handmade coffee bean buttons are the perfect finishing touch. Delightful!!!
