Wendy challenged us to make a card inspired by the 70's. I listened to Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce, Harry Chapin, and Cat Stevens. My card depicts a song by Cat Stevens called, Morning Has Broken.
I stamped the image then covered an area for the sun. I sponged the sunrise then the ground in front of the scene. I removed the mask from the sun and sponged it. I used direct to paper to color the planks of wood behind the image.

When I saw this card I asked myself, "how does this relate to the '70's?" Then I read your inspiration for the piece and I got chills - I could hear Cat Stevens clear, pure voice singing the melody to the song. Awesome card that evokes some wonderful memories for me! TFS
