This card has been three months in the making, and even an inkling that it would be done way back in January! With that said, now that it is done, I am entering it into five SCS challenges:
Christmas Card 2017 - January - whose theme is to make a card featuring sleds, snowtubes, snowboards, or skiing.
Alphabet Challenge, Round 7 - Letter Z. In the processing of coloring this cute little image, I named my little Eskimo girl Lara and the little Siberian husky Zhanna. She need a strong Russian name because of her heritage and she will become a gloriously strong sled dog...her name must befit who she is!
ALPHABET CHALLENGE, Round 7, Letter X, Double Challenge = Make it Xmas...well that fits for sure!
F4A386 - Christmas in July. I had hoped to finish in July...so entered late!

Beautiful card! You did a fabulous job coloring your image, and your embellishments are so perfect for it. Even the background paper makes it feel like a cold wintry day. Great job!
Wow! This is so cute! That pup is adorable! I love the background paper and the snowflakes, oh my! Precious card! I am so glad you were able to finish it!!!

I suppose if I looked in some cubby holes I could say I have things "in the making" for a long time too. And here I thought I liked this hobby because of it's instant gratification...
I do think your time was well taken - this card is perfect, from the coloring to the pretty accents. Thank you for playing along.

Thanks to all for your lovely comments! I, too, like this hobby for its instant gratification, so when that doesn't happen, like with this card...it is frustrating! But, I am, at least happy with the final results!

Way to stay on a project until it is finished, Carlene. I would have forgotten it for sure (even if I started it last week). Beautiful snowflakes and coloring. Such lovely colors too. Hugz
