This is for today's F4A challenge to name our 'national" day. For the last year and a half I have remodeled my home both inside and out. One thing just led to another. Gutted kitchen, baths, painted, put a deck on, put in flower gardens, etc. When I saw this Digi, I thought he would be perfect to celebrate my national day. While I love to remodel, I think I am done forever now. I am pooped out, and ready to enjoy my home ... and so happy to be back creating cards - lol.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look. I appreciate it.

Super fun! Your layout gives the impression of one wallpaper going down and another going up. Remodeling is fantastic...when it's finished. We had a full kitchen remodel the summer before my Dd's wedding, decidedly NOT fun but I love my new kitchen!
We are so glad you are back to creating cards!!! I bet your house is beautiful!! I love this! I love that the background papers look like wallpaper! Your image is a hoot! Now enjoy that house!

Love a day of home improvement, that is a wonderful idea. Very lovely card. Oh we are about to get ourselves caught up in some home improvements...I am so not looking forward to all the construction I had thought we would not have to do any for a few years. LOL! Wonderful layout and fun image on the card. TFS!

I remember those days ... painting and wallpapering, tile laying -- to make a home a home right? This is a great card!!
