I needed a birthday card for a boy and started by looking for some images for All Star shoes on the internet.
I fussy cut them out and placed them on a red paper strip on the inside of my card as a hint for the front.
So I paper pierced the holes for my needle work with the Tim Holtz ruler, made the holes for my shoelaces, weaved white ribbon through the holes, and put two white eyelets beneath the logo with the boys name.
Accessories: Bigshot-Whit ribbon- white eylets-Tim Holtz ruler- Nellie's Choice Multi Frame Die - Straight Tags and Multi Frame Die MFD085 - Piercing tool-Needle and white thread-pop up dots
Techniques: Fussy cutting-Die cutting- Paper piercing- Punching-Sponging
Love the shoelace effect used here with this creation. Such a very clever idea. Well done.
