I roughly sketched the boots and added a field flower bouquet inside them.....then watercolored. White acrylic accents were added to the daisy petals to make them stand out more. The bouquet was inspired by this Pinterest Board photo.

Wow and wow! You sketched those, I am so impressed. I love the flowers, too. There used to be a border of big shasta daisies or something like them under my window when I was a child, I always loved them. What a fabulous watercoloured work of art, Sallie.

Oh! Love cowboy boots especially as my precious family are heading over the pond at the weekend for their own cowboy inspired holiday. You've made boots and burlap the perfect combination today.

Swoon! I don't even know where to begin exclaiming what I like, I mean love, about this amazing piece of art! You could have museum hours and gallery tours in your home with all your wonderful masterpieces, Sallie! You have captured the very essence of the old worn leather boots that were rustled up to be a vessel for the quintessential daisies! Fabulous color palette and boy, do I love the burlap as a mat layer. LOVE this!
