My mother-in-law came over last night looking for a birthday card for her twin and telling me all about their shopping adventures of the day. I didn't really have a good card for her, so she asked if I could make her a shopping card. Of course!
So I found this Bugaboo digi to use as one of the three objects on the sketch. Then I stamped the boxes from Happy Moments and the bag from Tote-ally Tess. I tried to color the bags and packages like bags from stores that they like to shop at (Kohl's and JCPenney). Do you see that Target box that I accidentally made? Hehe.
For the background I created the sign shapes in Microsoft Word and then filled them in with text boxes. Sadly, I ended up cutting out my favorite word, "Clearance", as part of the sketch.
Aunt Cindy is going to just love this card. Thanks for a great sketch!

Awesome card, Jennifer! Love that sale sign bg you made and the image and boxes are wonderful. Such a super fun card for this sketch and your Aunt-in-law. Love it! Hugz

What a perfect card you made for her! That's one of the best things about stamping, finding the exact thing when you need it by making it yourself. You could never find this in a store. Love it!
