Can you guess what this week's CAS challenge is?? :-) I went for a clean and simple beach scene by sponging some Soft Sky across the top half of some white cardstock. Then I put post-it notes across the middle and sponged the Lost Lagoon ink on the bottom half. For the sandy beach, I ripped some kraft cardstock and glued it down at the bottom.
The beach ladies are from one of those Kittie Scene sets from Rubbernecker Stamps. I went through my mom's stash and came home with a TON of stamps and supplies, and this was one of them. I stamped the ladies and colored them with Copic markers. I gave each lady a different skin color - very pale with lots of sunscreen, tanned, and pinkish with a sunburn. I cut them out and arranged them on the beach with dimensionals.
The last thing I did was stamp the sentiment across the top. I wanted to keep this sweet and simple for the challenge, so there's no extra layers, no ribbon, no bling, no die cuts. :-)
Come play along with our CAS challenge this week! It's a fun one with lots of possibilities!!

Ohhhh - I've always loved this image of the beach girls and how nice that your mom can pass her things on to you - my girls have no desire to craft, so don't know what will happen to the hoards of stuff I have here . . . . . This card is very effective in it's simplicity -
