This is for Carey's Sketch Challenge. I made a smaller gift card - 4.5" x 4". A new stamp set just arrived in the mail and I had to play with it; daffodils are one of my favorite flowers. I had fun watercoloring the image for the first time. For panel #2 - I cut the flower panel using an oval die; however, I first fussy cut around the flowers & stems on both sides in order to use the out-of-the-box technique. Then I layered that piece on #3 -card base. I placed an embossed piece at the side for panel #1 slipping it under the flower & stems that were fussy cut. I used a glitter pen on the daffodils, along with sequins which made it all sparkle & shine. It is so sparkly IRL. Fun sketch. Hope you get a chance to play along. TFL
