Mary is our hostess this week and she has chosen: night of navy, mint macaron, watermelon wonder and for desert: use dsp. I subbed denim for my navy.
Breaking in my new Tulip stamp set with some double and triple stamping and some masking as I went. To create the first layer of each stamp - and make it lighter - I applied the ink with a dauber rather than by inking it from the ink pad directly. The next layer was stamped full strength and I was really pleased with how this worked! I think the rest of this card is pretty self-explanatory – embossed the navy strip, and added some stickles for some sparkle.

Maura, I always love how you describe your process! I say this every week, but I always learn something. Besides which, your cards are so wonderful! This one, featuring one of my favorite stamp sets, is so pretty, with its masked tulips and pretty ds paper.
