I did not case any one particular card, but instead decided to create my own design in humble tribute to Anita (snietje) and ALL her amazing embroidered cards.
After several failed attempts at paper piercing the design in my head onto paper, I finally pierced a recognizable shamrock - then embroidered with emerald floss. I stamped & embossed the saying, trimmed my piece with a wavy edged cutter and sponged emerald ink over the edges for definition. I stamped the leprechaun on a scrap of white stock - watercolored, fussy cut and adhered with foam mounting tape. To finish, I added the greem gems for balance and gold dots for buttons on the coat.
Thank you Anita for all your wonderful inspiration - This card will go to my 94 yr old mother who taught me to embroider more than 60 years ago!

I love that you added stitching to your card. Beautifully designed card from the FS card. Love the card you used for your inspiration. It really inspired your card beautifully.
