I hope I have time to come back later today and do one of the dimension tutorials (the one layer tole looked really cool) but I thought I'd share this one for now. I am continuing on my quest to whittle down the scrap piles. I colored a bunch of these woodcut images using the vintage watercolor technique and I used one to make this collage card. I tore off the top and bottom sentiments and sponged the edges. I started with a bg blue piece that was a sheet I used to sop up all the extra blue color after doing another card. I had the dp pieces in the scrap pile. I punched a bunch of squares from Gelli prints and used one of those in the corner. I added some scrap solids for a color blocking effect and layered this over a torn cardboard piece with some added twine. In order to add the dimension behind the image and color blocked pieces, I tore some more cardboard and glued that behind to pop up the whole center piece.

This is wonderful! I love the nautical feel to this card.
