Thanks for a fun sketch today. Here is the sketch.
I think I had these little elves whispering in my ear this morning. I drew and cut out the ladder with a kraft knife from PTI kraft cardstock. I added a few details and sponged it with SU close to cocoa and crumb cake. I sponged SU mellow moss on an angle and used the pine branch from SU Peaceful Wishes to stamp a tree over it. I scored the right side of the front to look like brick. I masked a few areas of the elves and colored them differently to go onto the ladder. I popped up my ladder and popped up my elves. I ended up leaving the top elf hanging over the edge because he would have just looked silly with his head cut off...
Thanks for looking

Irene, how adorable! You have the most creative mind. Love the ladder and your scored brick is super. I just want to know what those elves were whispering to you. Ha

Another clever, creative and humorous card, Irene. I love the "little grump elves". Love the google eyes on the one for a little motion on your card. Everything about your card is top-notch and most enjoyable.
