WT607 - Oh Ribbon!!! We hope you come play with us.
I have to give my DH credit again. My punch for the tree is not made very well. It does not have a flat base and when you punch with it many times your hand will hurt when done. Well he punched every branch for the tree for me and then ordered me a new punch with a flat bottom. Love that man.
CCC16 - I am way behind in creating Christmas cards so I am trying to sneak a few in to get more done. I loved the tutorial and just had to do that one. I had created my own tree some time ago and liked having the pattern that Kittie suggested. it takes the guess work out of the size and shape. I finished my tree off with two different sized gems and some silver bakers twine. Topped the tree with a silver glitter star and a couple of packages.
I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards.
Thank you for looking!

Gorgeous tree and what a super hubby, too. Love the bows on the packages and twine around the tree...just perfect for the ribbon challenge. Awesome embossing, also.

Absolutely gorgeous tree! I tried this once before, but didn't turn out as pretty as yours! Maybe I should have watched the video! Love how you added the twine, gems and ribbon!

I can empathize with your aching hands after punching out all those sprigs ~ I have that same punch and it's so pretty, but very hard on my arthritic fingers and wrists. That said, this was definitely worth the work because it is just gorgeous. Love the way you wound the silver cord among the branches and your little silver-ribboned presents under the tree.

Stunning card, Lisa! The silver and white color combination is so elegant and I love the cord woven through the branches. You and your hubby make a great pair, love the support you show each other!

WOW....having punched out many of those MS fern/pine shapes...I hear you about "hurting hands", Lisa : ) Your tree is magnificent and I love the silver cording woven through it. Your DH is definitely a "keeper".
