I used a plastic storage sleeve, the type that has 2-ring binder holes punched on one side. The side edges actually become the top opening, so I started by covering the inside of the edges with Washi tape, this covers up the ring binder holes. I also used Washi tape on the outside edges even though it gets covered by the sequinned ribbon.
Initially I sewed up each side with a little craft sewing machine.....most useless piece of junk I have ever purchased, good thing it was a cheapie. Not to worry, after finding sequins all over the floor I realised that the stitched edges were dodgy, so I just used Washi tape to secure each end.
I plan to make more of these. I had a heap of fun and they are quick and easy.
Thanks so much Vicki. I hope very one is having a happy Falliday Fest (our Springyfest if you are in the Southern Hemisphere).

I am so casing this one, minus the attempt at sewing on plastic! One of your "Grace" takes could clutch this as she heads down the runway. And as others have said, beautiful and imaginative. You done good if this down under Springyfest creation.
