Vicki is our hostess this week and she has chosen: crumb cake, sahara sand, strawberry slush and for dessert: texture. I subbed regal rose for strawberry slush.
Since this month is Breast Cancer Awareness month I thought I would try to make cards that could be supportive to someone battling the disease. Both cards use this bg: on my craft mat, I smooshed ink from the 3 colors, and spritzed with water. Dragged/smooshed card in the color multiple times till I liked the result. Splattered with diluted inks of the same colors and also diluted white acrylic paint. Die cut rectangles to fit my card design.
Die cut the heart and hope from glimmer paper – adds just a bit of sparkle for some pizazz but is still fairly subtle. Very CAS card, but I think fitting for the occasion.

BEAUTIFUL card, Maura. Like the contemporary feeling with the scribbly die cut heart against your wonderfully created bg. The glitter paper adds a bit of pizzazz.
