Yippee skippy...we hit 600. For this week's CC600 I chose Maura's vibrant color combo of Melon mambo, Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin pie, and the green of our choice. Since I colored this with sharpies, I had to use colors that were close. I NEVER use sharpies. I have been addicted to Copics for years. My new BFF, Georgia the ginormous German Shepherd, is the reason for this new medium. Since I adopted her 2 months ago after Sweet Dolly died, she has come to the conclusion that I am the source of ALL THINGS WOUNDERFUL- food, treats, car rides etc. She is now like a third apendage...my right leg, left leg, and Georgie, firmly attached at the hip. We were all situated at the table when I realized that the copies were upstairs. When you have a 70 pound shadow following your every move, it is sometimes wiser to reduce extra movements. So, sharpies were within reaching distance. I actually used all my available willpower and left A LOT (that term is open for interpretation...in my case it refers to even a millimeter of white space showing on a card) of white space for a CAS style card for the CAS394. This is also a one layer card. The TLC603 called for texture. I added liquid pearls drops for my texture. The checkered stripes were not part of a stamp...I just had to doodle in a little of that white space. TEL, Francie

Wonderful card - again with such special colours in your flowers. They are stunning against the crisp white background. Love the added doodle in the bare white space - he he.
