I used direct to paper technique on my background. I first embossed an old book page with a diamond design and then I swiped several distress ink pads on top. I mounted this on black paper and doodled in a silver pen around the edges. I also used direct to paper on the punched flowers in the upper right. These were outlined with a silver pen as well. It might be hard to see but I added stickles on several places for highlights and also some flower gems in clear and purple.

Polly your BG turned out amazing with the direct to paper and the diamond resist stamp. The image is so perfect with your BG too and the music note flowers are fantastic!
