Maura is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to use Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke. The dessert option this week is Bling!
My first thought was a Christmas theme, but in a different way from what you're thinking: I unearthed a box that had eluded me for weeks, and I found wonderful stuff in there! It was like Christmas morning! I had been trying to find this set; and when it reappeared, I took it as a sign and decided to use it for this week's challenge. I could not have achieved the precision I wanted without the use of my MISTI. I stamped everything full strength, except the lighter pink flowers, which are Cherry Cobbler, stamped off one time.
Angie Kennedy Juda is including card sketches (with measurements!) for her newsletter readers. This is her sketch #3, which I thought was attractive and easy to follow.
I hope my gold, sparkly ribbon will qualify me for dessert!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Lovely! I appreciate that you went a little outside the box by not doing a Christmas card. I like this sketch and your stamped flowers came out awesome!
