I am your hostess this week and I have chosen cherry cobbler, always artichoke, and pool party. For dessert: some bling! Since I was watercoloring, I subbed Zig marker colors as close to the colors as I could.
On a separate piece of watercolor cs, I colored the peaceful wishes stamps with Zig markers, and then spritzed with water before stamping. I did go in with a wet paintbrush and add a bit more water in some places, and a bit more definition in others (with added color). I embossed the sentiment in black, splattered with diluted inks, and also with diluted white acrylic paint. I added sequins for the finishing touch, and matted in cherry before attaching to the card

This card had gone straight to my faves. I love red berry branches on my Christmas cards and this one is so artistic. I would be thrilled to receive this card and display with my Christmas cards--it will stand out on someone's wall this year!

Totally awesome watercolor card using the challenge colors. It looks hand painted and so very artsy!!!! Thanks so much to explaining how you acheived the watercolor effect using stamps. After seeing your lovely example, I MUST give this a try! TFS
