This card is for the Technique Lovers challenge, Watercolor Lifting found here Watercolor Lifting Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
Loved this challenge, had never done it before. I took it one step further by removing the heat embossing afterwards.
This is done by placing the card face down on some ordinary paper and using a hot iron melting the embossing so that it transfers to the paper.
Word of warning though, you need to lift the stamped image away from the paper while everything is still hot or the paper will stick to your stamped image and or tear (voice of experience here)
This card is also for the color challenge and I'm quite please with the way it came together using Daffodil Delight, Old Olive & Mossy Meadow. The dessert was summer treats, wait for it....... what bigger treat is there than Christmas and Christmas here in Australia is smack bang in the middle of Summer, what more can I say, lol
