I love today's Inspiration Challenge site, Petals, which is full of beautiful silk flower arrangements. I chose this Gerbera Daisy arrangement as my inspiration. To get the fullness of the original arrangement, I stamped the daisy image (3 daisies), masked it, and stamped it again. Then I stamped a single daisy twice and cut them out. I recently found a nice Fiskars stamp set with two different mason jars, one of which has a square bottom, similar to my inspiration. I had to elongate the stems of the daisies with a narrow marker. I achieved the glass look (which you really can't see in the photo) with clear glaze.
I have a card ministry at my church. I am going to use this card hopefully to bring some joy to someone on my list.

Don't you just love Gerberas? My DD gave me some potted magenta ones for Mother's Day. They lasted about 5 weeks, then my black thumb sent them to flower heaven. Your wonderful colors (especially the orange!) look fabulous on these blossoms in the jar.
