This is my sample for CC587. Karen is our hostess and she chose tangerine tango, daffodil delight and bermuda bay for her color trio. Dessert is to make it 5 layers.
I think I have 5 layers and that would include my ribbon.
I started my card this week with the layout. I am using this week's MOJO452 sketch.
The background dsp is from the Stampin'-Up March 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit "pocketful of cheer". Included in the kit was this pretty envelope, and I cut it to use it as background paper. The sentiment is from the same kit.
Cut the circle frame with a stitched circle die from CottageCutz.
The birdhouse and vine are also dies from CottageCutz. They are part of the new "This and That" release from May.
To complete my card, I added some Bermuda bay stitched ribbon and some enamel dots. I made the dots from Perler beads that I melted in a 325° oven for 35 minutes. More info here if you want to try it.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Karen has chosen some bright and fun colors. Check out the other DT samples for more inspiration.

Gorgeous Mary. I have received a few stampin up cards for my birthday and am amazed at the tiny ribbons that are so perfect for cards and match the papers like interior designers showcasing the latest fabrics.

That is some really beautiful paper, Mary, and to think it was suppose to be used as an envelope! I'm glad you cut it up! I wasn't excited about the Mojo sketch, but I do like what you've done with it~
