You know that awful feeling you get when you climb into bed and notice a 4 inch spider lurking on your 9 foot ceiling....well, that's how I felt when I saw both "masculin" and "CAS" in one challenge. However, I needed a father's day card for DH, and the TLC had one of my favorite things...cloud backgrounds, so I gave it a try. There are no golf clubs, fishing poles, or sports themes which are usually associated with masculin cards. However I used incredible restraint and avoided a rainbow of bright colors surrounded by bling. TFL, Francie

Your discipline, Francie, is utterly amazing. How you control yourself is such an inspiration to people like me who go crazy insane when making cards. It looks like an explosion occurred here. No, that's not a bad thing. It's actually a great compliment. You crafted a bg sky that is fantastic despite the fact there's no bling, rainbows, etc. Marvelous card, dahling. You went and came back with another one of your hugely artistic beauties.

You are so funny Francie...I couldn't see where the ceiling, bed and spider were going LOL. Every inch of this is fabulous my friend. I just looked in your amazing gallery and realised just how much I missed while we were away.

Bwahahahahahahahaha!!!! I'm busting a gut over here - equating my challenge to spiders on the ceiling! ROFL! I totally understand - I have the hardest time making masculine cards.
You totally ROCKED this card out of the park! Your background is absolutely STUNNING. I am in AWE. That gold bursting from the center is so gorgeous and it frames your dancing couple so perfectly. Can you tell I just LOVE your card???

Well your restraint paid off Francie, because this is one heck of a fabulous card!! Love the bg and how the couple is backlit with a "glow"! Just charming - faved!
